Relationships first, learning follows

A young person can't learn while they feel unsafe. So we build trust before we build a timetable — and let confidence grow from there.

Our Approach

  • Small, calm and predictable

Low numbers and a low-arousal environment, so the day feels manageable rather than overwhelming.

  • One plan per young person

We meet each learner where they are and design around their needs, interests and pace — never a fixed mould.

  • Working with everyone around them

Families, local authorities, schools and other professionals — we keep the people who matter in the loop.

1.Settle

Get to know you

No pressure to perform. First we build a relationship and learn what helps you feel safe.

2.Plan

Build a plan around you

Together with you and your family, we set goals for learning, life skills and confidence.

3.Learn

Learn in a way that works

Academic, vocational and therapeutic work, at a pace and in a style that suits you.

4.Grow

Grow towards what's next

We track progress and prepare you for college, training or work — with people in your corner.

My daughter has thrived whilst being at RENU she learns lots of new stuff, enjoys her time while there and her confidence has flourished.

I would highly recommend to anyone whose child struggles at school.
